![]() ![]() I know NiceMonkey here used to have the Xtreamer so might know best what I am describing above. I really hope it's something that is readily fixable and even something I might have missed when initally setting up the Q10. Thatâs all, now you can watch movies and TV shows and get subtitles when you need. In the bottom right corner of the screen, click the Subtitles icon. Here is how to do it: Play the movie or TV show, and click the menu button. In order of priority I would say point 1 is the most critical one. Once you have the file, you can load it in Kodi. On the Q10 I couldn't find how to do that so I just disabled the OpenSubtitles add-on.Ĥ- No display of ratings for subtitles. In the Xtreamer, I could easily switch between both using tabs. I initially used both Subscene and OpenSubtitles. Contents 1 Supported formats 2 Changing subtitle settings during playback 2.1 Settings details 3 Additional settings 3.1 Main settings 3.2 Adjusting subtitles position 3. So even if point 1 above was resolved, it would still be tough identifying the correct subtitles.Ä£- For the life of me I couldn't find how to find a way to switch between Subtitles providers. Kodi can also search and download subtitles directly from full screen playback. This is misleading as I end up 90% of the time with wrong subtitles that I need to manually adjust.Ä¢- The subtitle selection window is very small so all subtitles show up truncated. Now this wouldn't really be a problem, except that I personally find subtitles management terrible on the Q10.Äownloading a subtitle for a video you're watching is infuriating for the following reasons:Ä¡- All available subtitles are renamed to match the EXACT video file that you're watching. Is the Q10 forcing its own interface in Kodi? Every single screen looks exactly the same EXCEPT the video menu. ![]() If the above setting is not enabled, Kodi will ignore the movie.nfo. To use this name, the setting Movies are in separate folders that match the movie title must be Enabled in the Set Content Screen. I just don't get why the menu GUI is different. Kodi may also scan nfo files named movie.nfo. TV-shows are not currently tested, but give it a try, it might work. Hence, subscene plus works by automatically parsing the HTML files and following download links. Every single thing sucked about that box but there is ONE thing I find myself missing about it : subtitles management in Kodi. Subscene plus is a kodi addon intended to facilitate downloading subtitles from. I used previously an Xtreamer 4K Prodigy. ![]()
